Physics Laboratory
The Hindu High School Physics Lab is a well-equipped and spacious facility, designed to accommodate 30 students simultaneously, allowing each student to perform individual experiments. The lab’s environment fosters hands-on learning, ensuring that students truly “learn physics by doing” under the careful guidance of experienced teachers.
We take pride in the fact that one of our distinguished alumni, Nobel Laureate Dr. S. Chandrasekaran, conducted his basic experiments in this very lab.
Facilities & Equipment
The lab is fully stocked with all apparatus required for the +2 Tamil Nadu Board curriculum, including
- Spectrometer
- Experimental kits for Mechanics, Optics, Electricity, and Magnetism
- Demonstration models and teaching aids
Additionally, the lab features a large collection of student-made exhibits, making it resemble a workshop of innovation. This combination of structured experiments and creative displays has earned it the distinction of being a Model Physics Lab.
