Chemistry Laboratory
The school’s Chemistry Laboratory is a model facility, specially designed for school students with ample space and proper ventilation, closely resembling a college level lab. It provides a safe and comfortable environment for students to conduct experiments and develop practical skills.
Facilities & Equipment
- Working Tables: 10 spacious tables allowing 30 students to work individually and comfortably
- Safety Measures: Equipped with five fire extinguishers to ensure student safety
- Glassware & Chemicals: Borosil glassware and Asalar chemicals of high quality for practical experiments
- Water Supply: 5000-litre cement water tank for collecting rainwater, used in place of distilled water for analysis, Two separate pipe connections: groundwater and Metro water
- Sinks & Storage: 6 sinks and 7 almirahs, with a dedicated chemical storage room
- Gas Supply: Gas plant available, though Indane cylinders are currently used for economy
- Solution Preparation Area: A dedicated section for preparing solutions and reagents

The lab is enhanced with educational charts and models, donated by alumni and curated to inspire learning:
- Periodic Table Chart for quick reference
- Portraits of Renowned Scientists donated by P. Venkatram (Batch of 1990–1991)
- Chart of Elements: showing discoverers and year of discovery
- Chart of Nobel Laureates in Chemistry: 1901–2001, celebrating the centenary
- Molecular Models & Orbital Structures: to aid visualization of chemical concepts
